Risk Disclosure

Last updated: 1 January 2026

Trading crypto assets, forex and stocks involves significant risk and can result in the loss of some or all of your capital. You should only trade with money you can afford to lose. Automated tools do not remove these risks.

1. Purpose of this disclosure

This Risk Disclosure describes material risks associated with using the Tarim platform, including its automated trading bots, market analysis and risk controls. It supplements our Terms of Service and should be read together with them. It does not describe every risk, and it does not constitute financial advice. If you are unsure whether trading is suitable for you, seek independent professional advice before proceeding.

2. Market volatility

Crypto assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum are known for extreme price volatility. Prices can move sharply within minutes and may fall substantially or become worthless. Market sentiment, regulatory developments, technological changes, security incidents and macroeconomic events can all affect prices. Gains are not guaranteed, and losses may exceed expectations.

3. Possible loss of capital

You may lose some or all of the capital you allocate to trading. Fees, spreads, network charges and slippage can reduce returns even when the market moves in your favour. Losses from leveraged or margin-based activity can be greater than your initial deposit, where such products are available to you.

4. Automated trading risks

Automated trading bots execute transactions according to predefined rules and configuration settings. They can malfunction, respond poorly to unusual market conditions, be affected by connectivity or exchange outages, or repeat errors rapidly. A bot that has performed well in the past may perform poorly in the future. Stop-loss and other risk controls may not execute at the intended price, and in fast markets they may not prevent losses.

5. Limitations of analysis and AI models

Market analysis, scores, signals and projections on the Platform are generated using data and models that have inherent limitations. Data may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Models may be trained on historical information that does not reflect future conditions. Simulated or illustrative results are hypothetical, do not represent actual trading, and may not reflect the impact of liquidity, slippage or changing market dynamics.

6. Liquidity risk

Some crypto assets trade in thin markets. You may be unable to buy or sell at your preferred price or within your preferred timeframe. During periods of stress, bid-ask spreads may widen significantly, and orders may be partially filled or not filled at all.

7. Custody and security risks

Digital assets are exposed to risks including hacking, phishing, malware, compromised credentials, private key loss, smart contract vulnerabilities and failures of exchanges or custodians. Transactions recorded on a blockchain are generally irreversible. You are responsible for protecting your login details, devices and any wallets you control. Tarim cannot recover assets sent to incorrect addresses.

8. Third-party and counterparty risks

The Platform may rely on third-party exchanges, data providers, payment processors and infrastructure. The failure, insolvency, restriction or misconduct of any such provider may affect your access to funds or data. We do not control these parties and accept no responsibility for their actions except as required by law.

9. Regulatory and legal risks

The legal and regulatory treatment of crypto assets varies between jurisdictions and can change quickly. Changes in law may restrict or prohibit certain activities, affect the availability of the Platform, or alter the tax treatment of your transactions. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Platform and your trading activity comply with the laws that apply to you.

10. Tax considerations

Gains and losses on crypto assets may be subject to taxation, including Capital Gains Tax or Income Tax in the United Kingdom, depending on your circumstances. Tax treatment depends on individual factors and may change over time. You should obtain independent tax advice and keep accurate records of your transactions.

11. Past performance and simulations

Past performance, backtested results, testimonials, reviews and calculator outputs do not guarantee future results. Figures shown on the Platform are examples intended to illustrate how the tools work and are not promises or forecasts of income. Actual results may differ materially.

12. Steps you can take

Before using any trading functionality, we recommend that you start with an amount you can afford to lose, understand each setting and its effect, use the risk controls available to you, enable two-factor authentication, monitor your account regularly, and avoid borrowing money to trade. You may stop using automated tools or close your account at any time.

13. Acknowledgement

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that you are capable of bearing the financial loss that may result from trading, and that your decisions are your own. If you have questions, contact Tarim at [email protected] or by post at Park Row 230, LS1 5AT Leeds, GB.
